The State information resource "Data bank of the Information on the Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Belarus" is a systematic collection of information on historical and cultural values placed under state protection and listed in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of the Republic of Belarus. Complete scientific and project documentation about artefacts with historical and cultural significance is available in this site, together with details on publishing and other items pertaining to cultural and historical heritage. The "Bank of Information on the Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Belarus" is currently under development and is only available in the Belarusian language.

The database contains current (since 2007) information on documents about Belarusian study, culture, library science, philosophy, psychology, religion, history, social sciences, art, linguistics, study of literature etc. The databases includes bibliographic records of collected works, authors’ abstracts of dissertations, dissertations, manuscripts, graphic documents, music materials, cartographic editions, audio and video materials and electronic resources in Belarusian, Russian and foreign languages, and also data about articles from periodicals, serials and collections in Belarusian and Russian. The database includes retrospective full text collections of Belarusian study documents: Sources on the History of Belarus from the late 18th – the early 20th centuries, The National Library of Belarus in the Press and Belovezhskaya Pushcha available inside the Library. The database is daily updated.

The bibliographic database comprises the records of Belarusian books printed in Latin type and published in the 16-18th cc. The database contains information about documents from the collections of libraries of Belarus, CIS member countries and Europe, and also from the National Belarusian Museum of History and Culture.

The database contains bibliographic records of documents concerning different aspects of the Chernobyl disaster and its consequences in both Belarus and abroad. The resource comprises the complete data on documents on social sciences and humanities (sociology, statistics, demography, economy, policy, state and law, fiction, study of literature, religion, and psychology). General information on natural sciences, technologies, agriculture and medicine is included. Documents in Belarusian, Russian and foreign languages from the stocks of the National Library of Belarus and the biggest Belarusian libraries, as well as documents discovered through bibliographical sources are also presented. Bibliographic records are partly annotated. Size of the database is over 26 thousand bibliographic records. The database contains information on documents published in 1991–2006. Since 2007, data on documents on Belarusian studies from the database “Chernobyl” has been represented in the database “Belarus: from Past to Present”.

Culture and Art of Belarus 1993–2007 / Культура і мастацтва Беларусі 1993–2007 гг.

The resource presents unique works of Belarusian cultural and art figures, digital copies of Belarusian literary magazines from the beginning of the 20th century, fashion materials and other documents reflecting the cultural heritage of Belarus. The resource includes following collections:

The electronic archive was launched in November 2006. It contains electronic copies of periodicals published in the Republic of Belarus: newspapers, journals and feeds from news agencies (378 titles).

The database comprises bibliographic records of the materials from the NLB’s collections. Most bibliographic records contain links to full text documents.

The database is a full text collection of national theses and abstracts. The electronic library provides various search options (search by author, title, keyword, profession, UDC index, publication date). At present the database contains over 8,500 full-text electronic theses on 25 fields of knowledge and more than 23,500 abstracts.
The electronic resource is currently updated. Downloading of retrospective data is made as documents are digitized. Electronic documents are available to registered users via local network. Consultant:

The collection "Fashion and Time" includes electronic copies of domestic and foreign publications from the stocks of the National Library of Belarus. These are books, magazines, graphic editions, articles and illustrations, which describe the fashionable styles of women's, men's and children's clothing. Chronological coverage is from the 16th to 20th century.

The database contains bibliographic information in different languages on the history of Belarus, historiography, archaeology, ethnography, special historical disciplines (chronology, genealogy, heraldry, metrology, toponymy, etc.) and also the history of national economy, culture, education, medicine, agriculture, military science, sport, etc. Information on materials from the NLB’s collections and publications based on bibliographical sources are also included. Bibliographic records are partly annotated. Size of the database is more than 48 thousand bibliographic records. Chronological coverage: 1993–2006. The database is currently updated with bibliographic information about documents published in 2005–2006. Since 2007, data on subject documents from the database "History of Belarus" has been represented in the database "Belarus: from Past to Present".

Data base include two collections: “Librarianship in Belarus in the documents and materials” (it contains digital copies of full text archives documents, related to different aspects and time period the librarianship of Belarus has been developing) and “Librarianship of Belarus in persons” (it contains bio, factographic information about librarians, scientists, cultural and public figures, whose life and professional path is related to development of libraries and librarianship of Belarus).
