The last presentation was organized by the virtual reading room in the frameworks of the series of seminars on information resources using on the Web of Science platform on March 2 in the P. O. Sukhoi Gomel State Technical University.
The seminar was attended by more than 60 representatives of university teaching staff, young academics, postgraduates and undergraduates.
Irina Tikhonkova (Clarivate Analytics) represented the information products of the Web of Science platform, and also highlighted the most relevant topics for the university libraries users: algorithms for searching and analyzing scientific information on the platform, creation and interpreting reports of publications and citations, creating personal author's profiles of scientists in ResearcherID and ORCHID, approaches to selection and evaluation scientific journals for the placement of scientific publications.
Vyacheslav Brichkovsky, representative of the National Library of Belarus, represented the advantages of using the resources and services of the virtual reading room in the information support of research and educational processes.
