Today at 7 p.m. the National Library has opened the doors to everyone to join the Biblio-Night-2018, the annual cultural event in support of the book and reading!

This evening which will continue from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. the guests could make a real trip in time, will visit different epochs and feel themselves as part of another generation.

So, the time portal is open! The main wizard of the Biblio-Night, Watchmaker, has already run the mechanism and transferred the guests in parallel time. Her Majesty Book became the guide between the epochs! After all, it keeps the history of mankind and the knowledge that he accumulated over millennia.

Elena Dolgopolova, First Deputy Director of the National Library of Belarus, greeted the guests of the evening and wished everyone a wonderful mood and a fascinating journey.

The participants of the "Revue" musical academy presented the "Generation NEXT” performance which made a special mood at the "biblio-disco".

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the People's writer of Belarus, publicist and screenwriter Vasil Vladimirovich Bykov.
On this occasion, the National Library has prepared an anniversary exhibition "Soldier's fate", which highlights the great influence on the work of the Belarusian writer of his participation in the Great Patriotic War.
