On March 15, the representatives of the virtual reading room (VChZ) of the National Library held a workshop on “Opportunities for the Use of the VChZ Resources for the Socio-economic Study” at the Economic Research Institute of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus.
At the workshop the experts of the corporate interaction department of the National Library of Belarus (Marina Rudakovskaya and Ruslan Dolgiy) introduced the attendees to the electronic databases, offered for information support of scientific research in the sphere of economy, finance and demographics. The audience became aquatinted with the content of information resources, their search functionality and algorithms for processing the information found.
The seminar was attended by members of the Institute: economist researchers, young scientists and librarians.
