On February 20, the library was visited by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelkader Messahel.
A sightseeing tour of the National Library building was organized especially for the guest of honor, during which he got acquainted with the history of the book treasury, visited its most important places, estimated the potential of the institution as the largest socio-cultural center of the country.
At the end of the meeting, A. Messahel was handed a memorable gift.
