Во всем мире продолжается процесс стремительной активизации деятельности в области интеллектуальной собственности (ИС) – увеличивается число заявок в области ИС, растет интерес политических и деловых кругов к нематериальным активам и ИС как средству их охраны, повышается внимание к ИС со стороны средств массовой информации, общества и политиков. Все чаще и между предприятиями, и между государствами возникают споры по поводу ИС, которые вызывают все больший общественный резонанс.
С выходом ИС на первый план возрос и интерес к услугам и программам Всемирной организации интеллектуальной собственности (ВОИС) со стороны государств-членов, предпринимателей, научно-исследовательских учреждений и широкой общественности. В настоящем докладе содержится информация о работе, проделанной Организацией в области этих услуг и программ в 2018 году.

Настоящая редакция Справочника по Таможенной конвенции о международной перевозке грузов с применением книжки МДП 1975 г. подготовлена Европейской экономической комиссии Организации Объединенных Наций и заменяет собой издание 2013 года.
Первый раздел справочника описывает систему международных дорожных перевозок (МДП), географический охват ее применения, административную структуру, цель и принцип действия. Во втором разделе приводится полный текст Конвенции МДП 1975 г. по состоянию на 1 июля 2018 года. The majority of disasters are water-related and more than 60 of the global freshwater flow is occurring in transboundary basins. This Words into Action Guide has been prepared in the framework of the Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes (Water Convention) to support the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015–2030 was adopted at the Third United Nations World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Sendai, Japan, in March 2015. Growing levels of obesity (including among children), continued harmful consumption of alcohol, and the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance are some of the greatest contemporary challenges to the health of European populations.
