BRSM Primary Organization

The BRSM (Belarusian Republican Youth Union) Primary Organization at the National Library of Belarus was founded on October 19th, 2007.

The organization’s membership statistics for the first six months of 2016: 23 members from among employees of the library.

Purposes of the BRSM Primary Organization:

• promotion of an overall development of both young people and the civil society of the Republic of Belarus based on patriotic, spiritual and moral values of the Belarusian people.

Activities:

• consolidation of patriotic youth within the framework of the BRSM;
• preparation and running of actions and events promoting physical, spiritual, and moral development of young people.

Tasks of the BRSM Primary Organization:

• assistance to the development of legal and socio-economic guarantees of young people’s rights;
• promotion of intellectual, spiritual and physical development of youth;
• assistance to the development of youth programs;
• patriotic education for the BRSM members.

The BRSM Primary Organization at the National Library of Belarus follows the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, the Law of the Republic of Belarus “Civil society organizations”, the Statute of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM) and legislative acts of the Republic of Belarus.
