The exhibition "Urban contrasts" will open on August 22 at the Library.
If you ask residents of Minsk, how they imagine a modern city, he will certainly answer: "high light houses, rectangular architecture, new areas are constantly being built". Then he will remember parks, rivers, fountains, places. If you ask a city dweller about the nature, he will certainly describe countryside in the spring, autumn in the woods, summer at the sea. Only the artists will notice the urban motives, that you missed in a hurry.
The exposition will present the works by three different authors. They noticed the little secrets of the city and share them with the audience. "Urban Contrasts" is an exhibition of fantasy photo and photo reflexion.
Photographic artist Irina Kuznetsova presents an "Urbanization" series consisting of three cycles of life of the working cranes that sets up on the philosophical reflections.
Video artists and film director Alexei Kuznetsov presents works from the "Color Ice" series and a series of photographs "Metropolis" about the ideal architecture of the city built by bees.
Subtle, poetic photo-sketchings by Elena Danbrova "road to heaven", "Time", "The Secret Life of the Stars" and other hit spectators penumbra and understatements. They are like riddles, that can be only read by viewers endowed with imagination and a sense of inner harmony.
You can visit the exhibition until October 1, 2019 in the "Panorama" gallery (22 floor).
The end date of the exhibition can be changed.
