The exhibition "Along the Trails of The Wildlife", dedicated to the Year of Native Land opens on September 29.
The organizers are the National Library of Belarus and the Belarusian Wildlife Photographers Club.
The pictures by Belarusian photographers and members of the Belarusian Wildlife Photographers Club will be presented to the visitors. For more than 10 years the club has been actively working to popularize the ideas of nature protection. The works of the photographers are exhibited in reserves, tourist complexes, museums, and numerous cultural and educational institutions, both in our country and abroad.
The authors are Sergei Plytkevich, Pavel Martinchik, Viktor Kozlovsky, Denis Ivkovich, Irena Gudiyevskaya, Pavel Lychkovsky, Alexander Pekach and others.
Mighty bison, deer, bright grouses and kingfishers, stonechats on a lupine, black woodpecker chicks, rooks, tits, confident wood owls, timid doe, dangerous lynxes, slender roe deer and other inhabitants of the Belarusian forests and fields will not leave indifferent the visitors of the gallery. Each photo is mesmerizing; it brings delight and pride.
During the opening, the guests will also be presented with a book exhibition show. There are more than 30 editions from the National Library of Belarus. These are albums with unique images of the wildlife of our country and articles from periodicals about the authors of photo works.
The grand opening of the exhibition "Along the Trails of The Wildlife" will begin at 5 p.m. at the Rakurs Gallery (2nd floor).
Admission is free on the event day. On other days - admission is by library card or by the ticket of the library's social and cultural centre.
You can visit the exhibition until December 12, 2020.
