Minsk of today and in the 80s of the last century is completely different. Or not? Those who came at the opening of the photo exhibition "City and Time" were able to find the answer to this question.

At the exhibition dedicated to the City Day there are presented the works by the Belarusian photographer Vadim Kachan from the photo project "Disappearing Time". Central streets and other famous sights of the capital can be seen in two pictures: the first was taken recently, and the second was made in the 80s.

The opening ceremony was attended by First Deputy Director of the National Library of Belarus Elena Dolgopolova, member of the Belarusian Union of Designers and the Belarusian Public Association of Photographers Yevgeny Zaluzhny.

At the official opening of the event, the author of the photos, Vadim Kachan, spoke about his attitude to Minsk and the photographs presented at the exhibition, after which he thanked the library and enlarged the “diamond of knowledge” collections with his works.
