“Light and Air,” an exhibition of paintings by Piotr Sharipo, timed to the Year of Native Land in Belarus, is open since December 12 in the gallery "Atrium."
The exposition is a lake of Belarusian landscapes, a flow of picturesque images, a space of sincere admiration for native nature. The open-air works, presented at the exhibition, are painted exclusively from life. The artist so subtly notices every moment of reality that even the air on his canvases seems natural. You feel like you can smell the aroma of branches, grass, flowers, morning...
The motives for the studies of Piotr Sharipo were landscapes of Orsha, Braslav and Minsk regions. The artist was inspired by beautiful ancient architecture of the cities of Polotsk, Golshany, Pinsk and Myadel.
Visitors to the exhibition will have a chance not only to admire the paintings of the talented artist, but also to find their native land on the canvas.
The exhibition will run until April 15, 2020.
The closing date may be changed.
The opening hours of the exhibition correspond to the library’s opening hours.
Admission is by library card or by ticket of the library's social and cultural center. Information and tickets may be obtained at the registration desk.
