On the basis the N. Garkovich's report printed publications of XIX–XXI were represented, which are the sources for studies in genealogy, including armory books of the Belorussian gentry, published in the different periods, sources with the name indexes (for example, village policemen and other statesmen of the period of the Great Principality of Lithuanian, Ruthenian Uniate Church priests, rebels of 1863, Minsk officials of the period of the Russian Empire with biographical information and others).

A. Susha's report gave a chance to demonstrate new valuable manuscript sources acquired in the course of the past two years by the Library. Among them are confessional journals, pre-marital registers, books of records on baptisms, marriages and deaths of residents of different parts of Belarus and surrounding lands. Most of them were drawn up at Orthodox and Catholic churches in the central and northern parts of our country in the 18th and early 20th centuries and are of great interest to anyone looking for information about their ancestors from these regions.

The exhibition will be on show in the Manuscripts, Rare Publications and Early Printed Books Reading Room until 30 November 2020.
