From January 24 to February 10, an exhibition dedicated to the Day of Belarusian Science is on show in the Scientific Reading Room (room 206).
The Republic of Belarus has a high intellectual potential, which is recognized by the world scientific community. The level of scientific thought is an indicator of the economic, educational and cultural development of the state. Belarusian science creates credibility for the country and society, points to urgent problems, the solution of which raises the prestige of the state and allows you to follow the innovative path of development.
The exhibition presents books that reflect the priority and continuity of the domestical science, its significance for the Belarusian society and economy. There are fundamental works of recent years that reflect the current trends in the development of scientific thought.
Talent, personality, and school are of great importance in scientific activity. The series Faces of Belarusian Science tells about the life and career of outstanding scientists who contributed to the breakthrough of domestic science in various fields of knowledge.
