The National Library of Belarus carries on the series of anniversary book exhibitions “Writers’ anniversaries” dedicated to lives and careers of the outstanding masters of writing.
In the fourth quarter we offer to our readers the expositions as follow:
- ”The great Russian talented man “: the 300th birthday of Russian scientist, naturalist, philologist, historian and poet Mikhail Lomonosov (1711–1765);
- “The great bibliographer of the Great”: the 100th birthday of French writer Henri Troyat (the pen-name of Lev Tarassov, 1911–2007);
- "I devoted a lyre to my people ...": the 190th birthday of Russian poet, prose writer, dramatist and literary critic Nicolay Nekrasov (1821–1878);
- “The sufferer genius”: the 190th birthday of Russian writer Feodor Dostoevsky (1821–1881).
The exhibitions are located in the circular hall on the 3rd floor.
