The National Library of Belarus carries on the series of anniversary book exhibitions dedicated to Russian and foreign writers.
In the course of year, editions dedicated to life and creativity of outstanding masters of writing of different times and people will be on display on the 3rd floor in the circular corridor.
In the first quarter, we offer to your attention the exhibitions as follow:
- "According to my times and taste I hate the word slave": the 220th birth anniversary of Russian writer and diplomat Alexander Griboedov (1795–1829);
- ”The artist of life”: the 155th birth anniversary of Russian writer and classic of the world fiction Anton Chekhov (1860–1904);
- ”The future changes the view of everything”: the 125th birth anniversary of Russian poet, writer and translator Boris Pasternak (1890–1960).
The reading lists of books displayed at the offered exhibitions are available in all reading rooms on any user workbench.
