On December, 4th, at 4 p.m., a literary evening and presentation of the book of Vyacheslav Bondarenko The First World War Commanders and Military Leaders Born in Belarus published by Zvyazda Publishing House will take place at the gallery “Labyrinth” (on the 3rd floor).
This book is about fates of generals of Belarusian origin who had reached the top of grade in the Russian army during the First World War 1914–1918.
These people’s names had been almost forgotten as time went by. Today we revere their memory giving due to those who remained faithful to the officer’s honor forever. This book is a modest tribute to those who fairly and bravely carried out their military duty in 1914–1918.
