On 23 December, a press conference of President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko took place for the representatives of Belarus and foreign mass media at the National Library of Belarus.
The conversation of the President and journalists continued more than four hours. For this time Alexander Lukashenko answered about 50 questions.
These questions concerned social and economic development of the country, separate branches, internal and foreign policy of Belarus, different aspects in mutual relations with Russia, the European Union, other countries and regions. The President also shared with journalists his vision of a modern situation in the world.
There were about 400 journalists from more than 300 organizations of mass media both government and non-government, and also foreign.
