On December 2, at the gallery Panorama of the National Library of Belarus took place an opening ceremony of the art exhibition “12+”.
The event organizers – the National Library of Belarus and the International Guild of Painters.
The exhibition presents the artistic explorations of 12 painters well-known both in Belarus and abroad. The canvases by Egor Batalyonok, Aleksandr Grishkevich Aleksandr Zabavchik, Fyodor Yastreb, Vladimir Kozhuh, Vasili Kostyuchenko and other artists are performed in varied artistic techniques – landscape, associative art, mythological paining. Their works allow to see and to appreciate the current trends of modern Belarusian painting.
Head of the Galler and Exhibition Division of the National Library of Belarus and chairman of the International Guild of Painters Fyodor Yastreb delivered an opening speech. Belarusian artists Vasili Kostyuchenko and Gennadi Drozdov spoke at the event as well.
The exhibition runs up to January 15, 2011 at the gallery Panorama (22nd floor, the indoor observation platform). Since December 3, entrance to the exhibition is paid. The cost of entrance is equivalent to the cost of a visit to the Observation platform of the National Library of Belarus.
