A "Caterpillar" art lesson was held in the children's room on July 24.

After reading "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" fairy tale by a popular book graphic artist Eric Carle, the children made a multi-coloured caterpillar out of cardboard of various shades.

To make a craft-toy, the participants of the lesson drew and cut out multi-coloured ovals from cardboard using stencils, glued the parts, sticked small antennae with coloured paper horns on the caterpillar's head, drew eyes and a smile.

The children placed a cute craft on green base sheets and invented an adventure story for each caterpillar.
