On December 17 at the National Library of Belarus took place the presentation of the second volume of “Encyclopedia for Schoolchildren and Students. Physics. Mathematics” published by P.Brovka Belarusian Encyclopedia Publishing House.
The second tome of the edition “Encyclopedia for Schoolchildren and Students” in 12 books reveals the basic physics concepts of the nature of different phenomena, the key mathematical concepts, and also the brief history of physics and mathematics in Belarus. The purpose of the book is to help the young reader having some physico-mathematical experience to learn the general concepts of physics and mathematics. The book analyzes different issues that senior pupils and students usually confront.
Director of P.Brovka Belarusian Encyclopedia Publishing House Tatiana Belova; chief of a creative project team, director of Confucius Republican Institute of Sinology Vassili Strazhev; director of the National Library of Belarus Roman Motulsky; PhD, professor Nicolai Poklonsky, and also faculty of national universities participating in preparation and publication of the second volume of the encyclopedia “Physics. Mathematics” took part in the book presentation.
Within the framework of the event director of P.Brovka Belarusian Encyclopedia Publishing House Tatiana Belova presented to the National Library of Belarus the first and the second tomes of “Encyclopedia for Schoolchildren and Students” with autographs of authors.
