Excursion on Mother's Day
Other news

October 14 is a day when we say sincere words of warmth and affection to those who gave us life: our mothers.

On this sunny autumn day, we traditionally invite our nearest and dearest to a themed excursion to lift their spirits and distract them from the hustle and bustle of COVID-19 life.

Today a joint excursion was organized for teachers of the state educational institution "Lahojsk Secondary School No. 1", mothers of large families and veteran teachers, as well as for the mentees of the day-care centre for elderly citizens of Lahojsk district. On the excursion, women learned about the building of the main Library of Belarus, heard the life stories of famous Belarusian women whose images are depicted in the decoration of the building, visited the exhibition "Symbols of Life" and a presentation during which the theme of the holiday was widely explained.

At the end of the excursion, many surprises awaited the beautiful guests: a unique exhibition of ballroom costumes and accessories "Glitter of Outfits and the Secrets of Flirting", memorable cards with good wishes and ascent to the Observation Deck of the Library.
