On February 16, in the virtual reading room of the National Library of Belarus, an online seminar was held on the information support of the sphere of inclusive education in the Republic of Belarus.
The specialists of the Corporate Interaction Department (Luciya Tupchienko-Kadyrova, Daria Rimsha) presented to the participants licensed databases containing methodological and educational literature on the issues of teaching people with special educational needs.
The possibilities of using electronic information resources in distance education were revealed and specially developed adaptive technologies for the blind and visually impaired people, an audio collection of fiction and educational literature were presented.
The event was attended by representatives of the Institute of Inclusive Education of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after M. Tank, specialized boarding schools for children with visual and hearing impairments, territorial centres of social services for the population, public libraries.
The virtual reading room is open for cooperation with all libraries and information centres in our country on subscription to licensed databases and training in working with them.
