Literary readings “Winter poetry” took place on January 25 in the Children’s room of the Library.
Winter in poems of Russian poets is thoughtful and great. It’s like a queen of the winter kingdom and ruler of blizzards and snowstorms, it enchants and entices with its beauty and splendor. The nature is asleep, hiding under a snow white cover, and winter freed powers of winds and frosts, that shackled the whole world in icy chains.
Lines of Russian writers’ winter poems are full of beauty and magnificence. Young participants of the event found themselves in a magic world of Russian poetry while reading Alexander Pushkin’s, Afanasy Fet’s, Ivan Bunin’s, Sergey Yesenin’s poems.
Being inspired by marvelous poetic lines, children drew illustrations for those poems. As a gift children received a book with winter poems.
