On 12 April at 5 p.m. at the mobile gallery of the National Library of Belarus opens the 31st art exhibition of the Society of the mobile art exhibitions – ХХІ c (Saint Petersburg).
The exhibition arrives in Minsk after a long journey across Europe. About 90 works of 36 painters, graphic artists and sculptors from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Samara and other Russian cities will be on display. Belarusian artists from Gomel A. Gaylevich is among the authors.
The aim of the art union «The Society of the mobile art exhibitions. ХХІ century» founded in 2005 in Saint Petersburg is to restore the best traditions of Russian art in the manner of Perov, Shishkin, Myasoedov, Repine and other Peredvizhniki (The Wanderers), the Russian realist artists of ХIХ c. Unlike their predecessors, the modern Peredvizhniki offer different art concepts inspired by other Russian groups of artists such as «Mir Iskusstva» (The World of Art) and «The Union of Russian Artists».
The exhibition runs up to 20 May.
