In March 2010, within the framework of a promotional tour, the photo exhibition “The National Library of Belarus” was held in the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus to France.


The series of photos consists of 25 works of the major Belarusian artists, including famous masters Anatoly Dribas, Loliy Makedonsky, Alexander Zhernosek, Victor Suglob, Valery Kharchenko and others. Their bright, artistic works have presented the main library of the country in the most expressive and significant fragments, have opened original decisions of its interiors, new technologies in service, and have acquainted with paintings and works of applied art.

The photo exhibition “The National Library of Belarus” continues its tour of European cities. In April 2010 it will be presented in Netherlands.

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."

Students of the Belarusian State Academy of Music visited the National library

On April 18, the students of the Belarusian State Academy of Music visited the National Library of Belarus as part of the environmental education and upbringing program. They got acquainted with the thematic book exhibition "Water is a wonderful gift of Nature" dedicated to World Water Day. The exposition is presented in the documents of international organizations reading room (room 207 g).
