On 30 May, a seminar “Eurasian patent information system (EPATIS) is a searching tool for patent information” took place at the National Library of Belarus.
The event was organized by the National Library of Belarus, Eurasian patent information department of Eurasian patent information system and the National Center of Intellectual Property of Belarus.
A welcoming speech was made by Deputy Director for Information Resources of the National Library of Belarus Tatiana Kuzminich, Deputy Director, Head of examination center of industrial property of the National Center of Intellectual Property of Belarus Eugenie Fedorov. Head of patent information management of Eurasian patent information department Vladimir Sirotyuk gave a report and presentation.
At the seminar workers from Eurasian patent information department told about peculiarities and possibilities in usage of Eurasian patent information system (EPATIS), they gave training on a patent searching for users of this service.
Over 60 people: workers of libraries, research workers and teachers took part in the event.
