On March, 2nd, within the bounds of the Informing day, the Minsk Regional Library named after A.S. Pushkin hosted a seminar-training “The Virtual reading room (VRR) of the National Library of Belarus as part of remote user service”.
Representatives of the National Library of Belarus (Elena Snigireva, Nadiezhda Radyuk and Paul Kalenteev) acquainted the seminar attendees with databases EBSCO, Grebennikon, EastView, Universitetskaya biblioteka (the University library), Integrum etc available to VRR subscribers in 2015.
Resources on open access interesting to users of public libraries, databases created by the National Library of Belarus and other Belarusian libraries were presented as well.
The event gathered about 30 people.
