The festive awarding of the regional literary contest “Debut” winners took place on December 14 in the children’s library No. 2.
The contest has been organized by the administration of the Pervomaiski district in Minsk for the 19th time. The jury were the employee of the magazine Вясёлка, winner of the national and international awards in the field of culture Raisa Borovikova, the editor in chief of this publication, the children's writer Vladimir Lipsky, the writer and poet Victor Pravdin and the poetess Valentina Polikanina.
People of all ages can participate in the contest. This year contestants were offered to demonstrate their creative abilities in the framework of two topics: “Cultural heritage of my Motherland. Traditions and modernity” – to the Year of culture in Belarus and “Sounds of life…” – to the 75th anniversary of Belarusian and USSR artist Vladimir Muliavin.
Employee of the library technologies department Alesya Demidova was among the participants and was awarded the diploma of the 2nd degree in the nomination “Prose”.
