On 14 May, a thematic event "The Journey across the Continents” took place at the Children’s Room of the National Library of Belarus.
Children made an amusing journey to Asia, Africa, Antarctica, Australia and other wonderful continents, recalling their flora and fauna. The young guests guessed riddles, answered questions and learned the meaning and the origins of place-names.
Children showed their geographical knowledge in the contest “Balloons”, artistic skills in the contest “Multyashki” and quick wit in the quiz “African safari”.
Winners of the contests received prizes, and then children watched the animated film Ice Age.
