From 25 to 28 April, the National Library of Belarus took part in the 19th International Forum on Telecommunications, Information and Banking Technologies "TIBO-2012".
The National Library of Belarus demonstrated its information resources and services – Internet portal of the National Library of Belarus, databases "Belarus in persons and events" , "Belarusian and foreign libraries" , "Electronic Archive of National Periodicals", "Electronic library of theses and abstracts of theses of the National Library of Belarus", as well as "Virtual Reading Room", "Virtual Center of Legal Information", "Virtual Center about activities of international organizations "Open Information", "Virtual reference service", "Electronic document delivery service", "Information technologies for visually impaired users".
Visitors also knew about publishing, polygraphic and advertising activities of the National Library of Belarus.
A scientific workshop "Electronic Culture" was carried out within the framework of the 19th International Forum and congress TIBO-2012.
As a result of the 19th International Forum on Telecommunications, Information and Banking Technologies TIBO-2012 the National Library of Belarus was marked with a diploma as a member of the exhibition, as well as with a diploma for promotion of innovations in library science.
