On February 18, at the central site of the National Stand of Belarus, the library presented its projects within the framework of the 18th Minsk International Book Fair.

The event began with a speech by Natalia Barsukova, Chief Bibliographer of the Research Department of Bibliography. She spoke about the creation and history of the monthly bibliographic bulletin "New books: on the pages of the Belarusian press". Over the years of its existence, the manual has gained wide popularity in the libraries of the country, has gained a certain authority outside Belarus, has become one of the famous Belarusian bibliographic publications. For 60 years of its existence, the bulletin has published 720 issues. According to statistics, NLB readers turn to them almost every day.

On the basis of interesting materials, a unique publication "Belarus through the eyes of a bibliographer" was made. It compiles the best newsletter supplements over the past 30 years. The book consists of 32 sections, each of which is a separate thematic block: the history of the emergence of the Belarusian ethnos, the origin of Belarusians, nature and personalities of our country, cultural traditions, folk holidays and rituals, national cuisine, etc.
