On 5 May 2011, the Oman Foreign Ministry delegation headed by Vice Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed bin Yousef bin Obaid al Harthy visited the National Library of Belarus.
The visit to the National Library of Belarus took place within the framework of the official visit of the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman Foreign Ministry to the Republic of Belarus.
Mrs. Elena Dolgopolova, First Deputy Director of the National Library of Belarus for User Service and Ideology, welcomed the guests. During an excursion to the Library the visitors learned about its activities, information resources, equipment, reading rooms, architectural features and interior design.
At the end of the excursion the guests ascended the Library’s Observation Platform from which they could admire the bird’s-eye view of Minsk.
