On January, 14th, a master-class “The winter patterns” took place at the Children’s room.
Children got acquainted with fascinating technics of Belarusian “vycinanka” – the paper-cut. At the study children used their fantasy and imagination creating the winter beauty by their own hands. Each child could make a unique composition from paper snowflakes.
During the children’s event the young guests enjoyed sporty games, riddles and the New Year's verses.

On April 18, the students of the Belarusian State Academy of Music visited the National Library of Belarus as part of the environmental education and upbringing program. They got acquainted with the thematic book exhibition "Water is a wonderful gift of Nature" dedicated to World Water Day. The exposition is presented in the documents of international organizations reading room (room 207 g).
