On 29 November, at 5 p.m., the opening ceremony of Aleksandr Losminsky’s photo exhibition “Under the sky of Grodno Region” takes place at the art gallery “Panorama”.
About 50 splendid bird’s eye view landscapes are on display at the exhibition of photographer, journalist and head of people’s photo club “Grodno” Aleksandr Losminsky.
The photographer has got an idea to see the ground through the eyes of birds for quite a long time. During some years he has been searching for any opportunity to rise in the sky above Grodno Region, and today, having made more than 20 flights, the author can be proud of his extensive "air" archive. Having flown round the most interesting corners of Grodno Region and having captured on camera the unique landscapes of his native land, Losminsky has opened to the audience all its extraordinary beauty and harmony.
The author’s skill to find the right foreshortening, his careful use of the palette of natural paints and laconic composition in each work allow to consider him as a true creator who can turn a plain photo into a work of art.
The presentation of Aleksandr Losminsky’s photo album “The Bird’s Eye View of Grodno Region” published in 2011 in 3000 copies will be held within the framework of the event.
The exhibition runs till 10 January, 2012.
Entrance is paid since 30 November. The exhibition entrance fee is equal to that of the Observation Platform of the National Library of Belarus.
