A regular online seminar of the virtual reading room of the National Library of Belarus took place on November 19. Its main topic was electronic information resources for institutions of all levels of education.
The speaker of the virtual event was Maria Domovskaya, the Head of the Section for Monitoring, Acquisition and Distribution of EIR of the Corporate Interaction Department of the NLB. She presented the resources of the VRR for the education section and drew the attention of the participants to the advantages of corporate subscription for Belarusian libraries in the Virtual Reading Room.
Lada Danilova (IPR Media company), the invited guest of the seminar, introduced the resources of the electronic library system “IPR BOOKS” to provide the educational process with collections of scientific and educational literature, services for teachers and students on the platforms “Professional Education” and “Russian as Foreign".
The seminar was attended by representatives of libraries of institutions of higher, vocational and secondary specialized education, employees and readers of public libraries.
The Virtual Reading Room is open for cooperation with all libraries and information centers in our country on subscription to licensed databases and training in working with them.
