A regular online meeting with representatives of public libraries in our country was held on 5 October in the Virtual Reading Room of the National Library of Belarus. The event was timed to coincide with the opening of test access to the electronic library system BiblioRossika.
We prepared an online training session for our colleagues on the features of this electronic resource. All readers of the libraries participating in the test until 31 October 2021 will be able to read full texts of educational literature, fiction and popular science available in the EBS without restriction.
Access to EBS "BiblioRossika" is open within the framework of a large series of testing of a number of leading information resources, organized by the Virtual Reading Room specifically for public libraries of Belarus. We hope that this initiative will contribute to the provision of full and high-quality information services to the residents of all regions of our country and will enable public libraries to optimize their approach to the acquisition of their document collections.
We would like to remind you that licensed access to BiblioRossica is permanently open to all readers of the National Library of Belarus.
The Virtual Reading Room invites libraries and all interested organizations to partner on a corporate subscription to licensed databases.
