Measuring the productivity of the publications of an author / organization

The number of scientific papers is growing day by day. So we need an objective assessment of their results. H-index is one of the instruments for such an assessment. The index is based on the set of the author's / organization’s most cited papers and the number of citations that they have received in other publications.

Specialists of the National Library of Belarus measure the productivity of the publications of an author or organization on the base of Russian Science Citation Index.
