The National Library of Belarus. The milestones of history

The key events in the history of the country's main library are represented in rare photographs, manuscripts, unique archival documents and other materials.

The first director of the library, the first head of the Belarusian literature department, the first bibliographers and librarians were true professionals who made the history of the main guardian of the national book heritage. Memorabilia and documents from personal archives tell about the difficult fate of these people who were devoted to their work. 

Today, "the diamond of knowledge" is the card of the capital, a must excursion route for guests of Belarus. A vast collection of original gifts and souvenirs presented to the National Library by foreign delegations is also on display.
