Life and creative career of Mark Chagall

An excursion from the cycle "Outstanding People of the Motherland" about the life path and creative career of Mark Chagall is intended for wide audience.

During the tour visitors will learn about the architectural features and decoration of the National Library of Belarus building.

The interactive part of the tour includes a multimedia presentation about the life path and creative career of Mark Chagall, revealing interesting facts from the biography of a famous artist, the story of love to his wife, art, native land.

Guests will see a book exhibition of the Mark Chagall ‘s works from the collections of the National Library of Belarus, including his lifetime editions. The publications signed by Mark Chagall occupy a special place. There is the autobiographical book of the artist “Ma vie” (“My Life”), translated into French by Bella Chagall. The copy was signed by the author for the Turgenev Library in Paris in 1933.
