Гаагское соглашение регулирует вопросы международной регистрации промышленных образцов. Соглашение, впервые принятое в 1925 г., фактически создает международную систему (Гаагскую систему), которая позволяет при минимуме формальностей обеспечить охрану промышленных образцов в ряде стран или регионов.
В настоящей публикации содержатся тексты Гаагского (1960 г.) и Женевского (1999 г.) актов Гаагского соглашения о международной регистрации промышленных образцов, а также текст Стокгольмского дополняющего акта (1967 г.). В нем также содержатся Общая инструкция к Акту 1999 г. и Акту 1960 г. Гаагского соглашения и соответствующая Административная инструкция.

Договор о патентной кооперации (PCT) позволяет испрашивать патентную охрану изобретения одновременно в каждой из множества стран путем подачи «международной» патентной заявки. Такая заявка может быть подана гражданином любого Договаривающегося государства PCT или лицом, проживающим в таком государстве. Обычно она может быть подана в национальное патентное ведомство Договаривающегося государства, гражданином которого является заявитель или в котором он проживает, либо, по выбору заявителя, в Международное бюро ВОИС в Женеве.
Настоящая публикация содержит консолидированный текст Договора о патентной кооперации (РСТ) и Инструкции к PCT.

Доклад является восьмым отчетом о результатах многолетнего исследовательского проекта, посвященного мониторингу взаимных инвестиций в странах СНГ и Грузии. Анализ опирается на базу данных, которая ведется на основании разносторонней информации, полученной из открытых источников. База формируется по принципу «снизу вверх», то есть ее составители отталкиваются от отчетности компаний и другой первичной информации. В результате проект позволяет адекватно учитывать такие факторы, как инвестиции через офшоры и другие «перевалочные базы», а также реинвестирование прибыли, полученной за рубежом.
Доклад содержит детальные сведения о масштабах, динамике, географической и отраслевой структуре взаимных инвестиций стран СНГ и Грузии к концу 2016 года. Особое внимание уделено анализу взаимных прямых инвестиций компаний из государств – членов Евразийского экономического союза, в том числе специфике этих стран как экспортеров капитала и как реципиентов прямых инвестиций компаний из других постсоветских государств.

25 сентября 2015 г. на историческом саммите Организации Объединенных Наций государства-члены ООН приняли Повестку дня в области устойчивого развития на период до 2030 года (Повестка-2030), в которой закрепили 17 Целей устойчивого развития (ЦУР), направленных на ликвидацию бедности, борьбу с неравенством и несправедливостью, а также решение проблем, связанных с климатическими изменениями. Беларусь стала одной из 193 стран, которые выразили приверженность Повестке дня в области устойчивого развития, и пообещала своим гражданам достичь этих Целей до 2030 года.

The massive release of radioactive material at the Chernobyl accident in 1986 led to widespread radiation exposure, in particular to people evacuated from the settlements near the reactor and workers involved in the clean-up operations, and also to several millions living in contaminated regions in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
This book provides current research on the Chernobyl disaster. Chapter One discusses the artistic treatment of Chernobyl where the problem of apophasia arises. Chapter Two reviews the general tendencies of dynamics of frequencies of congenital malformations in the territories polluted by radioactive Chernobyl radionuclides. Chapter Three discusses the impact of low doses of radiation. Chapter Four discusses the long term consequences of atmospheric tests of nuclear weapons and Chernobyl disaster on the territory of South Bohemia in Czech Republic. Chapter Five studies the stress adaptation of microscopic fungi from around the Chernobyl atomic energy station. The final chapter is a short commentary on the radiation and risk of hematological malignancies in the Chernobyl clean-up workers.

Though scholarly attention to democracy promotion is increasing, there is still little comparative and theoretically-based work on the protagonists of democracy promotion. This book investigates the motives that drive democracy promotion in a comparative and theoretically oriented manner, exploring how democracy promoters deal with conflicting objectives and the factors that shape their behaviour. It also addresses the more policy-oriented debate on the contemporary challenges to democracy promotion, focusing on US and German policies towards three kinds of challenges: the emergence of' 'radical' leftist governments in Bolivia and Ecuador, the political rise of Islamist movements in Turkey and Pakistan, and the consolidation of (semi-)authoritarian rule in Belarus and Russia. In each case, North-Western democracy promoters have been confronted with serious conflicts of objectives between security, economic interests and democracy promotion.
The analysis and comparison of such situations, in which democracy promoters have to deal with competing objectives and make tough decisions, provides powerful evidence as to the factors that shape democracy promotion.
