Location

The Native Land, the Tale of Times, an exhibition project dedicated to the Year of the Native Land in Belarus, will open in the Atrium Gallery on 5 April, at 16.00.

The National Library of Belarus has launched a series of art and information-documentary exhibitions devoted to the Year of the Native Land, which was announced in our country this year.

The project is to be implemented in several stages, which will vary throughout the year. The first exhibition will present postcards and books from the unique collection of the author of the project In Search of the Lost, Vladimir Likhodedov, and photos of the journalist and famous photographer, Sergey Plytkevich.

The exhibition Facing the Past will acquaint visitors with cards of the late 19th – early 20th centuries with the pictures of Belarusian cities and towns.

An exhibition of photographs of Sergey Plytkevich Unexpected Belarus will present original panoramic photos of our country taken from a bird's-eye view.


The exposition will run until 14 May, 2018.
The end date of the exhibition may be changed.

The opening hours of the exhibition corresponds to the library’s opening hours.
Entrance to the exhibition is available by the library ticket or ticket of the library's social and cultural center.

From July 2 to August 5, in the documents of international rganizations of the National Library of Belarus (2nd floor, room 207g), a thematic book exhibition "Modernity and the future of the Earth's Population" takes place. The exhibition is dedicated to World Population Day, the 75th anniversary of the formation of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the 30th the anniversary of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and UNFPA .
