A photo project “I See It with My Heart” and an information-documentary exhibition “The Locals” will open at 16.00, on May 15.
New exposition continue the exhibition project of the National Library of Belarus “The Native Land, the Tale of Times”, timed to the Year of the Native Land in Belarus.
In the gallery "Atrium" (3rd floor), the known photographers, gathered together by the project “I See It with My Heart” on the TV channel "Belarus 24", will share a special vision of our country through the camera lens. By the way, the most striking photos dedicated to Belarus are made by photographers Stanislav Bogdevich, Igor Byshnev, Sergei Plytkevich, Maxim Mikeshyn, Sergei Tarasov, Ilya Geley, Nikita Terekhov and Alexander Meklyar.
An information-documentary exhibition “The Locals” will open in the circular corridor on the 3rd floor. More than 300 thematic publications tell about the outstanding educators, diplomats, commanders, astronauts, inventors, cultural figures and sportsmen who were born in Belarus and gained great achievements outside Belarus, due to their talents and skills. The exhibition consists of six sections, which represent the provincial cities and regions of Belarus. The project will run until December 31, 2018.
You can see the photo exhibition “I See It with My Heart” and to vote for the most preferred work until August 13, 2018.
The end date of the exhibition may be changed.
The opening hours of the exhibition correspond to the library’s opening hours.
Entrance to the exhibition is available by the library ticket or ticket of the library's social and cultural center.
