On November 23, the opening ceremony of the art exhibition "Art-Krok" took place at the gallery Rakurs of the National Library of Belarus.
The event was prepared and held by the National Library of Belarus and the International Guild of Painters.
The exhibition is part of the project of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus “The Land under White Wings” which started on September 3 at the National Art Museum of Belarus.
Aquarellists, painters, masters of graphics and photo art presented at the exhibition over 100 works created in the last year. Among them there are both well-known artists and those who have just begun their creative career.
The project curator, head of the Gallery and Exhibition Division of the National Library of Belarus, chairman of the International Guild of Painters opened the exhibition.
Deputy Director of the National Library of Belarus for Research and PR Lyudmila Kiryukhina, artist Martha Shmatova, painter and member of the International Guild of Painters Grigori Nesterov took part in the event.
Guests of the event enjoyed an original music performance of the violin duet “Dolce Vita”.
The exhibition located in three art galleries of the National Library of Belarus (Labyrinth, Atrium and Rakurs) run up to January 15, и продлится до 15 2011.
