A photo exhibition "Golf is the Olympic sport" opened on April 25 in the "Panorama" gallery (22nd floor).

"I spend more time in the forest than the squirrel", this is the professional golfer’s life joke. In the sense of reuniting with nature golf is a very attractive game. One round constitutes of 4-5 hours on foot in the open air, which is very useful for health and also of many hours of communication with friends and like-minded people.

What is the role of golf in the modern world? This is one of the most popular sports in European countries. Each golf course is unique, so real golfers travel a lot, conquering new expanses. It is very difficult to achieve perfection in golf, so many of players devote a lot of years to that. As in any other sport, it has its secrets of skill and demands: it is necessary to have amazing patience, endurance and... talent.

The exhibition "Golf is the Olympic sport" by the famous photo artist Stepan Nadolsky reflects the development of golf in the Belarusian sport. For our country, golf is relatively young sport, but every year it is gaining more and more solid positions among the other sports. Today, golfers from Belarus take an active part in international competitions, this is the great merit of the Belarusian Golf Association, established in 2012.

The opening ceremony was attended by Vladimir Drazhin, Chairman of the Belarusian Golf Association, a member of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus; Sergey Pavlyukevich, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Minsk region; Stepan Nadolsky, the author of the exhibition and Sergey Kovalev, photo artist.

This inspiring exhibition will be placed in the "Panorama" gallery until August 1, 2018.

The end date can be changed.

Paid admission from April 25; the exhibition is free of charge but you need a ticket to the Observation deck.
