On 15 May, a festive opening of Vyacheslav Pavlovets’ watercolor exhibition “Aqua realism” took place in the gallery “Panorama”.


A welcoming speech was said by the following participants: Fyodor Yastreb, the Head of Gallery and Exhibition Division, the chairman of the public association International Artists’ Guild; artist Gregory Sitnitsa, a vice-chairman of the public association Belarusian Artists’ Union; Elena Pikulik, a senior research officer at the Institute of Arts, Ethnography and Folklore named after K. Krapiva of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus; Vladimir Runkevich, Ph.D. in History of Arts, a professor of folk arts and crafts of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts; graphic artist Vyacheslav Pavlovets.

The exposition consists of graphic works created by the artist for past five years.

The exhibition entrance fee is equal to that of the Observation Platform.

On May 5, the 205th anniversary of the birth of Stanislaw Moniuszko (1819–1872), the world-famous composer and conductor, our countryman, who made a significant contribution to the formation of Belarusian musical culture, is celebrated. By this date, the National Library of Belarus has updated the already existing virtual project "Stanislaw Moniuszko. Musical romantic from Minsk region", created five years ago, and now replenished with new unique materials.
