From January 3, 2008, to February 29, 2008, in the Periodicals Reading Room (room 106) is open an exhibition «Innovations – the way to the success”.
Belarus pays today a particular attention to the implementation of innovative technologies. Our country cooperates with foreign countries and aspires to be a partner and competitor in the world market. The development of national innovative system promotes the competitiveness of Belarusian economy. With that end in view was developed a project of the State innovative development program of the Republic of Belarus for 2007–2010.
The exhibition presents the article by V. E. Matyushkov, the Chairman of the Republic of Belarus State committee on science and technologies which informs on the goals and objectives of this programme: the development of an innovative, competitive, scientific, power efficient, and social sustainable economy and quality of life improving.
The exhibition acquaints visitors with innovative ideas and achievements by Belarusian scientists in the field of economy, agriculture, energy, education, medicine, and building.
The exposition totals over 40 publications.
