The Workshop on the Resources of the Virtual Reading Room of the National Library of Belarus for Information Support of Research and Education was held on 24 October.
The event was hosted by the International University MITSO and provided by the National Library of Belarus and the EBSCO Information Services Company, one of the leading world’s suppliers of information resources.
Maria Domovskaya, the representative of the National Library corporate interaction department, acquainted the attendees with the repertoire and contents of the electronic resources, provided by the virtual reading room for information support of economic activity.
The EBSCO Information Services Regional Development Director in Russia, Belarus and Moldova Andrey Sokolov and coach for the EBSCO resources Tamila Mirkamalova held a training on using content, search engine and functionality of the EBSCO databases.
The workshop was attended by the faculty, postgraduates, undergraduates, students of the International University MITSO, as well as the university library employees.
