The collections of the National Library of Belarus will be supplemented with unique publications. Among them are the lifetime editions of Meletiy Smotrytsky, the manuscript of the Tatars of Belarus, Hamail and other equally valuable exemplars.

The acquisition of manuscript and book monuments became possible thanks to the assistance of the President of Belarus Foundation for the Support of Culture and Art.

Mr Alexander Susha, Deputy Director General of the National Library of Belarus, gave more details about valuable acquisitions on the air of Belarus 1 and CTV Channels.

The Belarusian Notary Chamber and the National Library of Belarus: keeping history together

On June 5, in the Hall of Educational Technologies of the NLB, within the framework of the previously signed agreement on cooperation in the field of information activities between the Belarusian Notary Chamber and the National Library of Belarus, a solemn transfer to the library's collections of a unique publication dedicated to the stages of the formation of the institute of notary in the Belarusian lands took place.
