CSTO Council of Ministers meets at the Library

On 31 May, the Council of Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) took place at the National Library of Belarus.


Representatives of the Foreign Ministries of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan,   Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and also CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha participated in the event.

At both narrow and expanded sessions the major attention had been paid to consideration of the current state in the CSTO zone of responsibility and allied area, and to the questions of cooperation between foreign ministries including coordination of steps in the field of interaction with other international organizations.

From May 6 to July 5, the Reference and Information Service reading room (room 257) hosts the book exhibition "Belarus Unconquered", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
