The ceremony of transferring books to the National Library of Belarus by the member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China, Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China Zhao Leji was held on September 21.
Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov, Minister of International Affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Song Tao, Director of the National Library of Belarus Roman Motulskyas well as member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the CPC, Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection Zhao Leji.
The gift of the Chinese delegation represents a real baggage of knowledge. 770 kilograms, more than 1,000 books! A lot of books are devoted to politics, culture, history, the economy of the Celestial Empire, its national cuisine. A large number of publications are represented by works of Chinese classics translated into Russian. The books written by the leader of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping became a special gist for the National Library.
The atmosphere of the meeting was warm and cordial thanks to the performance of Van Beike, post-graduate student of the Department of Belarusian and World Art Culture of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts.
The visit of the library by the Chinese delegation took place in the framework of the visit of Mr. Zhao Leji to the Republic of Belarus.
